Little Prince on Ice
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s beloved classic comes to life on ice for the first time in a unique musical fantasy adventure.
Little Prince – Ice Show is a bold and visually spectacular interpretation of one of the world’s most beloved stories. The production combines world-class figure skating, acrobatics, original music and modern stage technology to create an immersive experience that takes audiences among the stars – from planet to planet, into a world of imagination and powerful emotions.
Designed for the whole family, this spectacular ice show follows the Little Prince on his journey across the universe. Along the way, he encounters different characters and worlds while searching for answers about friendship, love and life’s most important questions. Saint-Exupéry’s timeless story reminds us how important it is to preserve our sense of wonder, to care for others, and to see with the heart what remains invisible to the eye.
An ever-changing cosmic world unfolds on stage. The ice transforms from a starry sky into distant planets and dreamlike landscapes, while video projections, lighting, aerial elements and futuristic LED costumes create a distinctive visual universe for every scene. The speed and elegance of figure skating combine with spectacular acrobatics on ice and theatrical storytelling to create a truly unique stage experience.
The production is performed on a new generation of synthetic ice that requires no refrigeration. This innovative solution makes it possible to seamlessly combine figure skating, circus arts and musical theatre in a single theatrical experience.
Original cinematic music carries the story forward, enhancing its tenderness, excitement and magical atmosphere. Technology, however, never takes centre stage. Its purpose is to bring Saint-Exupéry’s poetic world to life and give this familiar story a fresh, contemporary form.
Little Prince – Ice Show is more than a figure skating performance – it is an invitation to dream, to feel, and to see the world for a moment through the eyes of a child.
A story for children and adults about friendship, love, and what truly matters in life.
