The legendary Cuban band Pasión de Buena Vista, which has reached over 800,000 viewers worldwide in 35 countries, will soon be back in Finland! In March, the best Cuban musicians and dancers will perform their new show in six Finnish cities. The enchanting performance with music and temperamental dance can be seen in Turku, Lahti, Oulu, Kuopio, Jyväskylä and Hämeenlinna.

Hot rhythms, exciting melodies and exotically beautiful dance together with more than 150 custom-made costumes will take the viewer on a journey through an exciting Cuban night!

Show Pasión de Buena Vista is full of the magic of Cuban melodies. Nothing captures the culture of this Caribbean island like music and dance! Pasión de Buena Vista is a great way to get to know Cuba and its passionate and laid-back fun atmosphere. The performance covers the entire spectrum of the exotic island's music, from mambo rhythms and cha-cha-cha to the so-called Afro-Cuban salsa.

The music accompanying the performance is composed for percussion instruments such as drums, cymbals and congar drums as well as wind instruments such as horns and trumpets. They are complemented by piano, bass and a typical Latin American guitar. 

The musicians are accompanied by talented singers who perform wonderful solos more than once during the show. First-class dancers who have repeatedly demonstrated their traditional dance skills in Havana shows have a special charm. The group brings to the stage traditional Cuban styles, especially the super popular "Son Cubano", which originated among sugarcane workers in the 1920s and later helped the rise of modern Salsa. For years the so-called "Danzón" was rejected by the Cuban upper class, but now it is one of the most popular dance styles and gave birth to the mid-20th century cha-cha-cha, rumba and mambo.
